Hello everyone. Just thought I'd put this topic up, and see what ideas anyone might have for flashback arrestors. So far I've been using cigarett butts and a bubbler for a absolute stop measure. Next I'm going to try an aquarium air stone in a tube. I also will be ordering some fine bronze wool and try stuffing it in various locations on my hho set up. All thoughts and ideas welcome. Eddie
Hey Eddie, I stopped my HHO experiments for a while until I thought this little E X P L O S I O N issue out a bit more. I found several low cost flame arrestor available on Ebay. Some of the car installation videos show a purchased arrestor. Sometimes it is better to let someone else do all the R&D work for you. I would not have a clue on how to build a transistor lol. Also I watched a video of someeone bubbling the HHO thru gasoline and it picked up extra hydrocarbon molecules to produce a flame more like propane. One of the commentors said that this would work using turpentine. This is someting that I want to try.

I think the best I have seen is Zerofossilfuels from youtube he takes a piece of plastic seran warp ( for food ) and put is over a cover. if there is blow back pressure it breaks first.
I have seen several of the cheapones FAIL repeat FAIL the testing of users on youtube.
The next best is to use brass steel wool ( see Sirhoax) on you tube.
Thanks for the tip. That saved me time and $s on someting that might not work when I needed it to. It seems that the wet bronze wool idea is the most popular. I will give that a try. The seran wrap trick sounds good also. Do you have to have fresh fruit or vegetables in your bubbler for it to work??? LOL
Hey guys, Sorry for my absence. I was sucsesfull in creating a flash back arrestor with an aquarium "air stone". Hopefully I will be posting a video of my hho set up this weekend. I have also created an hho torch that works.....small flame...limited sucsess. It just keeps getting better!!!
