I should of said wood gas... It is an method of combining the right combination of air with the consumed fuel to produce cleaner burning. I got one of these stoves from knowledgepublications, and I am very happy with it. It takes VERY little wood to power the stove, it takes 2 aa batteries to run the fan on this stove, which are easy to recharge with my other devices :)
But if you wanted to build one yourself, I would recomend a design called the rocket stove.
Hey Mart, Thanks for the excellent video! I will never forget how to build one, and it is on my to do list. I'm going to wait until my grandson is old enough then we will build it together. I am so very impressed with the simplicity of the design and the efficiancy of the stove. Why have'nt we been doing this all along? It makes a regular fire pit seem wastefull. We all need to share this info with as many people as possible. I liked it so much, here it is. Eddie
