Hi to you all. I am Leon Knook (www.leonknook.com) and want to build a newman motor for charging a few 12 volt battery's who are connected to a pump, that pumps rain water trough the toilet. Really love all the information available over here. For me as a totally newbie with a little bit of understanding of electronics it must be possible to get what I want. I have already build a first motor (see below) but find out this one is not complete at all. Its only running and consuming electricity instead of leaving some over for charging. It was a victory to get the thing working so thats my level for now. I'm working on a coil that I want to place on top of this model and see what power it can pull out. see you around. Leon.
