Hi, I plan to get the prop spinning and I am waiting for some bearings I ordered. I have a very small prototype running now but want to dress it up for U tube video presentation. I plan to run it outside on a concrete surface with full daylight illumination so everything can be seen and easily explained. All parts needed will be covered.
I was told by another party that I just reinvented a DC motor (In reverse). This motor does not run off DC however. Runs off of square waves?? Now a single power coil powers a single rotor magnet acting as a single flywheel. No commutator, brushes, extra wires, ect. Simplicity in its purest form with some bearing and air drag. I have another fellow looking into mounting this onto magnetic bearings. Tom
