What a brilliant Idea. I'm going to build one. If you were to place windings running up the vertical face of the CD housing would the magnetic field be ample enough to create some juice? I know he has the magnets having a north/south alignment that would emit their flux lines perpindicular to where I would place the windings.(TEEP) Do you have any ideas of how I could configure the magnets so their field would be utilized if we were to wire the outside of the case some what similar to your birdcage generator?
