looks to me like its a new type of rotary engine using gears and magnets. looks like the magnets move within the gear to create a rotation of the fly wheel...
back in high school my shop teacher had someone come in to talk to us about something pretty similar to this set up...however it was only a concept with out a working model. but this one hardly makes any noise which is very good.
i would to see whats in the middle casing though..
this could also be an adaptation of a Bowmann magnet motor...very interesting, great find comwarrior!

we can call it "spinning the device by hand"...lol.
watch carefully and 1 can see the shadow of some1 spinning it by hand(from about 12 seconds)...cooool...:P
in other words, when 1 spin something "by hand"...well u can make it as pretty as 1 can with alot of X-mas decoration...haha...:)

| Oh my your right. You can see someone spinning it. If you look at the end of it you can also see a bolt that sticks out and you can see some spinning it at the begining. |

lol i didnt even think of that..also at the end of the video you see a handle that the person could have been spinning it from? hmmmm interesting..good job at pointing that out!

and yes, it looks a pile of crap to me...

You are all to much so funny, I was being reserved the last time I pointed out problems with the data provided in a video I was blasted against the wall for it. CW you know what I mean!!! Well I am glad to know I was not the only one seeing the potential problems with this video.
I guess they should watch out for the camera angle and the lighting should have been pointed at the person spinning it up so there would not have been a shadow cast. But what can I say, they tried.
Any one can build allot of working levers and cool movements to react on a magnet that is nothing new and special, What we are doing (IE trying) to do is make motors that can run by them self and produce excess for other things as well. I guess if you want to pay some one to spin up this motor it works great.
LOL. Just makes me want to work harder at my design, I'm 30,000 separate drawings into it so there is no giving up now.

I've blased a few people for doing / saying something stupid... i've had it myself, the one and only time i made a mistake and i humbally accepted it... lol
i may blast people, but i also point out where they've gone wrong and try to give them what they need to correct it and learn... If certain people can't take the critism and don't want to learn then they proberbly won't get anywhere...
What i won't do is tell you how to do everything... What i want is for people to use a search engine to look things up... But half the problem is that people don't know what it is they are looking for...

Yes me too I feel that a direction is a good thing to give and all the details are not necessary in some things but in others it is totally necessary. However it is important to quantify the information that anyone receives with detailed research of there own to back up the information received.
Internet what would we do with out it.
I feel it is important to answer someones question with honesty and facts and not predigest. So if there are findings of a lack of facts and more to a hoax then that is the information I will put in place. If it is viable and not just a trick of the film then this deserves much credit as well. I just call it as I see it.

I just jumped to the conclusion there was a powered motor in that center housing. Did not see the reflections till I read the posts.
As to teaching and sharing knowledge, I like to think of it as empowering a person, that is education! If we build them a kit, or do our kids homework for them, if we ENABLE them. We often Dis-empower them by not allowing them to make the knowledge there own.
I agree with you Vesper, it can be a bit of a trick, finding that point of balance. However when we take into account the amount of detail needed by any one individual in the process of learning is really a reflection of where they are in the learning curve, the target is more easily found. This is assuming we are not talking about a simply lazy individual.

Their is one componant that most people are missing...
And that is the ability to self learn... or to teach yourself...
Everything i know, i know it because at some point i've needed to know it and so i taught myself... Learning by doing...
I can and will point people in the right direction, what i won't do is give them the answer because then they don't lear anything... besides their is allways the chance that someone will have made an assumption that isn't their...
All the stuff i'm doing with pic micro-controlers now... I didn't know anything about them back in June-ish... I taught it to myself... with a little help from the people on the forums at picbasic.co.uk when i get seriously stuck and then someone points me in the right direction and off we go...

learning stuff is fun BUT unlike u CW i do 1 hour of theoretical and 10 hours of practice and not the other way around...:P
if i do more than 1 hour of that(i cant) my brains automaticly shut itself out...haha
they say we use 10 percent of your brain...me more like 1 percent or i use more(like 25 percent) thats why ima getting tired quickly...:P...jokking m8`s...haha...sorry teeps i cant be serious all the time...;-)

That is a good video, I see the start crank on the right,
flywheel on the left, looks like the flywheel is to overcome

VERY Similar to an idea I have in a notebook, something like a
spiral PMM used in hybrid power applications to aid in power
while under coasting conditions.

just wanted 2 add that i do admire (younger)people who do their best 2 gain some knowledge and i do encourge them the way i can(not that it help much)haha...:)

1 tiny advice...when u start building something begin at the foundation and not at the walls/roof...try see your setup as a house...
when u have your fondation perfect the rest will come nicely in place...;-)

Ha, glad I read what you guys said also, it appears someone is cranking on the right @
the beginning, then it appears someone is hitting the flywheel with an open palm near
the end of the video. I still stand by my comments about how it resembles (in theory)
something I have in a notebook, but one would at least hope for longer coast-down times.
I translated the website and his claims are similar to ^^^, it gives a longer coast-down.
(the inventor claims)
